Hydrogel
Two products can feature the same key ingredients and still perform differently. The concentration, formulation, and the structure that holds the formula against the skin all shape the final experience.
No fabric. The hydrogel is the mask.
A traditional sheet mask uses nonwoven fabric to carry liquid essence. As the mask dries, moisture can evaporate, and the flat sheet lifts around the curves of the face.
A Biodance mask holds the formula within a solid hydrogel structure. The gel itself forms the mask, helping it conform closely and stay in contact with the skin without a separate fabric backing.
We did not simply remove the sheet. We redesigned what carries the formula.

Too little essence, and the gel dries too quickly. Too much, and the mask becomes heavy and begins to lose its hold. At 34 grams, the mask maintains moisture while staying comfortably in place throughout wear.
The number matters because of what it represents. We did not begin with 34 grams as a target. We arrived at it through repeated testing, adjusting the amount in both directions until moisture, fit, and wear time reached the perfect balance we were looking for.
It adapts as you wear it
Our hydrogel is thermoresponsive, meaning it responds to the warmth of your skin. As it gradually releases moisture, the mask becomes thinner and conforms more closely to the contours of your face.

We did not simply remove PEG from an existing formula. We redesigned the entire process to give our hydrogel its own structure.
The result is a PEG-free hydrogel made without added colorants or fragrance.
This was not a substitution made at the end of development. It was a structural decision made from the beginning.
